Okay folks, some news regarding the charity!

I'm happy to announce that we have teamed up with Kidspeech Inc. and the L.O.V.E. Foundation (Lyn's Outreach for Verbal Expression) to ensure that 100% of the profits are appropriated to help children and their families.

The L.O.V.E. Foundation was created in memory of Lyn Lovern, who bravely battled Friedreich's Ataxia. While facing many physical challenges, Lyn maintained one continued strength...communication. Communication that was only feasible through the assistance of technology. The goal is to help kids speak for themselves by providing augmentative devices and software to children who do not have the resources to unlock their potential. This is a not-for-profit organization giving children the power to communicate and providing the equipment that will allow them to verbalize their wants and needs. The L.O.V.E. Foundation is proud to partner with us and excited to bring happiness to families in the form of communication.

I am extremely happy that we are able to work as closely as we are with Kidspeech and the L.O.V.E. Foundation. My gal, Ivey (which you will all get to meet come November if you haven't already), has worked for Kidspeech for years. She has helped develop this foundation with the owners, lawyers, and accountants to facilitate all the behind-the-scenes work needed, and most importantly, we KNOW the funds are being dispersed appropriately. Every nickle, every dime, every thousand (!!) that we are able to raise as a community will go towards helping these kids.

I for one don't have an M3 anymore since the accident, but I'm still finding myself back on this site. I've made a lot of friends during my short tenure - many of which I see on the weekends, grab a beer with (which always seems to find its way late into the night...), talk to daily through texts, help ship parts for, work on cars with, go to the track... hell I've made friends on here that have spent hours of their days inspecting potential replacement cars for me across the country without a single second of hesitation. We've got a great group of people here and it's pretty wild how us diehard Bimmer nerds have somehow developed the best damn group of folks in the land.

I'm proud of you guys. I'm ecstatic to see the raffle and donation numbers rising. Come see me (the only doofus there in a Jeep I'm sure) at the Tail and I've got a beer or seven for each of you back at Fontana (after the driving is done of course). I can't wait to make some new friends and see some old ones this year.

To make a donation, please send your PayPal to lovefoundation190@gmail.com

If you are entering into the raffle, please send your entry amount ($50/ea ticket) to the same address with a comment including your screen name on here so we know who you are!

See ya soon.
