One can find the limit of any tires, regardless of compound. That alone doesn't mean it's time to take the next step as far as tires are concerned. It's my understanding that sticky tires will cover up bad habits. Those rs-pros might force you to keep the line smooth and the car balanced, and that should pay dividends down the line.
