sure they have business. Just like others have said, 100k in "x" town with "y" variables, its competely different that what you perceive 100k to be in "z" town and "a,b,c" life variables.
Im speaking from being a small town professional with zero familiy duties, as of this moment. 100k can easily afford a 60k car, and pay my house and needs just fine.
