The oem guibo is retained instead of being replaced by a solid piece. (This would be my guess based on researching online.)

Depends on the batch. Apparently they made a batch for VAC & Fall Line and they had issues Mfactory engineers had to fix. I'm guessing this is why they're not listed on the Fall Line / IND website anymore.
