Congrats Rawls, enjoy the car. Don't worry about the people here being downers, you know there are plenty of fanboys (for every brand) that aren't going to pat you on the back. I would say that you can't really generalize and say that Ford will provide a better warranty safety net for the Boss LS than BMW will for the M3. In my experience it is almost entirely dependent on the dealer, and it sounds like you have a more supportive Ford dealer than for your BMW. I have been lucky to have a good SA and dealer here for BMW that supports taking the M3 to the track.
