How much did you pay for your used M3" thread and thought to compile all the actual purchases over the last 2 years.
Note this is ONLY for E92 M3. I also thought using a ratio of Cost and Mileage or Cost per Mile would help value the car. Cost per Mile translates to how much the buyer has paid for each mile on the car. For example, a car with 50K miles has sold for $30K, or 0.6 C/M: The buyer paid $.60 per mile for the car. The lower the C/M, the better value.
Should you use this alone to value a car? No.
Should you use this as a data point among others to triangulate value? Yes.
