It doesn't matter to me where you go for work on your car, it's your time and $, but G2's labor rate for bearings was lower than most shops in the area that I called. For other work...I couldn't say. They're hourly rate was on the higher side compared to other shops I called, but those other shops also quoted me a flat rate for bearings that ended up several hundred dollars higher than G2. And some of them had little to no experience with S65 rod bearing replacements.
Maybe you call those other shops and get a different quote than me...just telling you what I experienced. Again, it makes no difference to me, I don't work for any of these places. |
I was just making a general statement. They are 2 miles from me and if I need work, that's probably where I'll go. Regardless, $125hr is a lot.
