Know what you mean reg the plenum mate... Had it off twice during the weekend when replacing thermostat (due to f¤ck with sealings). Greasing both front and rear hose connection on the plenum made a HUGE difference second time though. Almost looking forward to when I have to get it off again. Almost.

What kind of grease did you use? I'm going to attempt to fix my whistle sound again.
