In order to receive text in the phone, you go to your iphone settings -> Bluetooth -> Hit the Blue arrow next to the BMW XXXXX. Make sure "SHOW NOTIFICATIONS" is on. This will enable the text messages on your idrive. Text messages will be shown under "Office" or Telephone's Message.
