It sounds like something out of a French film, totally normal. The problem is if you did it, it would have consequences. How would you feel if your best friend did that to your girl? That gratification you'd get by doing your best friend's girl, it has to outweigh losing your girl, your best friend, and letting this girl know about your weakness. If the above is ok, then by all means!
