Before dusk take the Staten Island ferry to Staten Island. It goes right past the Statue of Liberty and has great, GREAT views of lower Manhattan. The statue will be on the Starboard (right) side on the way over. On the way back if the sun has set, the statue will be on the Port (left) side. And it's FREE.
Sunday morning Dim Sum at the Golden Unicorn in Chinatown (depending on when you have to leave) and you'll be looking at apartments to move in. <G> Don't worry you won't be able to afford any.
If you have never been to "the city" you will be overwhelmed. Buy a day subway pass and get a map. And let us know how it went for you. And don't expect to sleep as when we say the city never sleeps, we mean it.
