This is a pretty dead thread but have to mention this one.
Saturday morning was traveling westbound on State Highway 14 in east Vancouver in the maiden voyage of my refurbished 996 and spotted a Dinan-badge gray e90 m3. I honked at him like an enthusiastic fan boy. It looked pretty sweet, not space metallic so I’m assuming a sharp looking wrap. He/she was exiting off 164th which is one away from mine so I would have thought I’d have seen it before.
A week prior I was heading south on 5 near the fairgrounds, wife and daughter aboard tooting along in the right lane like a respectable middle aged family man, and a ‘kid’ in a red bimmer slams on his brakes in the left lane to pull even with me and dropped his window to pay his respects to my e90. We exchanged waves before he tore away in what turned out to be an e92 m3. Don’t see many red specs in my parts. Totally awesome that the next generation of enthusiasts is getting into this platform
