Thanks for the information on this thread.

I can confirmed passing emission in VA without primary cat with ESS VT1-550 readiness file. I have mini cat installed on 2 downstream O2 sensor. Rest of the systems is stock other than primary cat delete.

Using Autel OBD2 reader I can see all emission component readiness set to ready in about 5 complete drive cycle.

02 and Evap took the longest to get ready and I think driving faster (at least 55 miles but less than 60) in the O2 readiness cycle helps.

I was worried that I need to put the primary cats on every time I do emission but apparently mini cat will suffice.
