Sparkplugs are original I think and I just replaced the air filter with a K&N drop-in.
Here is a quick video I took, you can hear the engine stumble a bit when I jab the throttle from idle.

The car has 66k miles on original TAs so that might be it! Did your car seem to stumble a split second then rev up? |
Yes. Exactly like your video. Do you have the Carly app and adapter? Do a diagnostic and see if any codes pop up. I'm almost certain it's one or both TA's. DIY and order from FCP euro.
The DIY is not difficult and very satisfying. Especially knowing how much labor charges are for something like this. To me, removing the plenum and airbox/filter are the most time consuming. |
Thanks brother, yeah I did the TAs myself on my previous E92 M3, very easy job.
I just ordered two TAs and a full set of plugs, hopefully that will solve the issue.
