I owned both and I would seriously doubt that
the clutch feels nothing alike at all on the two cars. the clutch feel is much firmer on the e46 and is much easier IMO to drive smoothly.
the e9x clutch feels like I am driving a 100 hp civic, not a 400 hp sports car. my personal preference is a firmer clutch, so the e9x 6mt setup was never a favorite of mine.
