Why will a sport or race catback exhaust add performance? BMW claims only a more powerful sound from its catback exhaust. Akra, which sells beautifully engineered very expensive titanium exhausts claims only 3 rwhp from its catback exhaust. You won't feel it. You will hear it, though.
If you want performance, stick to the mods that add power.
