I basically have the same problem; my CD and DVD drives basically have the same error and neither one are working, The radio and satellite are working fine. I know there are after market companies that you can send the unit to for repair but I continue looking for an easier fix. I posted about this issue last in May 2018 and had no responses either.
Have you found anything more since your post?
