I just picked up a 2012 E92 6MT with 46,000 miles two weeks ago for $32,000. For me, the decision was easy because the only options on the car were black leather and interLagos blue. I probably overpaid a little bit but it was the color and options that I wanted and it was properly maintained and in great condition with a clean history. I agree with all those who say you get what you pay for.
I will say that after shopping for three months the prices on DCT cars was significantly lower than 6MT cars.
