I want to get Alex's ECU tune (I already have his GTS DCT) but I'm on the fence with cold start delete. Since I installed Borla ATAK catback, it's insanely loud during the air injection. I started asking around about cold start delete and I consistently hear "it will cause your cats to fail early." Okay, how early? Is there any concrete evidence / research on that? Are we talking about cutting life in half or by 10%?
Cat delete isn't an option for me.
