The 255's and 275's should be no problem with stock suspension. They fit correctly on the wheels. Ride should not suffer, as you have a slightly larger air chamber with the bigger tire, and the tires still fit correctly on the stock wheels. Things like ride and handling may change with the type of tire you select.

There is a slight tradeoff in hydroplaning resistance when running a wider tire, and you may find that the steering feels a tad heavier, although 1cm difference in width is not a whole lot.
