On the drive side the clamp will interfere. Possibly make a bracket that attaches to the bolt?
Also I was thinking when it's time to get smogged that maybe one could weld on a stubby to the cat with a slip fit end to make the install easier. I just don't think there is enough meat on the cat to keep the clamps in place. This would also serve as a permanent solution when returning the car to stock for whatever reason.
