No drive through car washes. I use the BMW care kit with good chamois, also have terry cloth towels to dry with. No hard rubbing as it polishes the clear coat and can ruin the matte finish on that area.
The matte (frozen) care kits are $250 (the paste wax was $130) The car is 6 months old and I've found the care to be pretty simple.
