It will be harder and harder to find cars that haven't been in accidents as time goes on. I agree with the others that if it was something minor, and the repairs were done right, it wouldn't really dissuade me from a purchase. Ask the dealer if they will let you take it elsewhere for an inspection (on your dime).

CarFax accident descriptions use generic terms and they don't really reveal how they're applied. Based on what it says, it sounds like the guy swerved to avoid something and jumped a curb.
