I'm not saying I'm against it totally. I'm just suggesting that when you go to sell it, it's much more difficult and people will talk you down in price. Forget about a trade in regardless of how small, dealers will knock a big chunk off. Have seen it first hand. I can't recall who said it but I think it was loveskiing who said you don't want a car with a story, especially one that you don't know the whole story behind because one day you will have to explain that story to a buyer and... If you feel it's discounted from what the exact car will sell for with a clean Carfax then by all means jump on it. But don't expect someone to jump on it when the time comes for you to sell it one day without heavily discounting it also. Just my 02.
