Looks like they were closer to optimizing their setup then the previous races & were able to get a bit more speed out of the new honda. Max was running a damn good pace before the VSC. I think Ferrari is within their sights this year, probably a long shot but could see them catching up to them by the end of the year. Gasly looks like he is starting to get comfortable with the car as well too.

And actually Honda has still a lot of work to do , if they want to close the gap with Ferrari and the Mercs in this season. Looks like the Mercs had a new engine upgrade . But they don't talk about it...
