My sensor started doing funky stuff after ~100K. adding 250ml goes from min level to over filled. Just keeping track of the volume added since the last oil change now rather than rely on the sensor.
It truly overfilled before and started leaking (a few drops a day) from the main drain bolt site even though it was torqued appropriately. No other effects thus far.

Simple 3 bolts. You will need to drain the oil. IIRC it was time for a change so it worked out for me. If not, you can capture the oil in a clean catch pan and re-use. When I do that, I pour it through a paint filter when putting it back in the car.
