The "street" part is the muffler (section 3). You can't run that on a non M e46 without adding quad exhaust (hacking out the spare tire well, adding mount points).
Oh I see - you're referring to your actual M3! Thought you were referring to a "street" section 2.

Do you think there's a big difference in running the OE section 2 and SS resonated section 2 with an e36 back box? Trying to figure out where the volume is coming from, the main resonator at the back (i.e. Stromung vs. E36), or the resonator in section 2 (i.e. SS resonated vs OE).

If section 2, I'll probably cancel the SS resonated section 2 and run the OE. I had been a bit worried about mixing and matching re: power band... but that concern is subjugated to my desire to keep the sound respectable.
