Interesting. The shop actually had issues with ESS supplied belt sizes. None of the supplied belts fit the 98mm and they had to use a 6pk2135. The 6pk2120 wouldn't fit the 96.5mm either and they had to use a 6pk2126.
What's strange though is pre-G1 kit, the correct OEM size belt fit fine with zero issues. Car has 47k miles, with only 1500 miles on the kit, and didn't appear to have any slip with the 98mm.
Might just swap the old 98mm pulley back in, see what happens, then go from there.
