I've been going to the 1/4 mile track at least 4-5 times every summer for the last 12 years and I've had multiple AWD cars and my friends also and I can tell you ,105-106 and awd is all you need to be in the 12 ! I don't know what 60foot you were putting with your S5 but an S4 can easily do 1.7 , I was doing 1.7 with my 265hp TT , and like you say , .1 on the 60foot is .2 on your 1/4 time !!
i dont know where you keep getting this 12.9 at 105 from but clearly you dont know how to read well..also your friends 13.1 at 101 in a wrx makes perfect sense due to the fact that its a turbo 4 and dies after 90...so you arguing trap speed makes no sense just by saying in an awd car--there are a lot of variables such as displacement, forced induction and many other you can run a 12.5 at 95 mph but the car may top out at 100 due to gearing...im talking about my personal experience with my seat time in cars...you can believe whatever makes your feel better but i usually base my facts in reality. in my S5 i was around 1.90 60fts pushing it 1.88...there are modified S4s that run into the 1.6-.7 60fts but never stock...the best i've seen was 1.85 which makes perfect sense...if you dont believe me check audizines 1/4 mile standing...
