I have been to her place before, I've met her dog (and bunnies, and guinea pigs. She hasn't boiled the bunny yet) so I don't think it's that. Also, she hates guns so I told her I have one in the house in a case in a bag in a closet that's only used for shooting at the range - I never carry it.
