Does anyone know how it's produced. I don't want to sound stupid, but is it actually leather? is it embossed or woven strips? Anyone have an idea of how its produced?
I've searched but haven't found anything

I'm pretty sure it's just plain old leather embossed with the pattern of carbon fiber. It certainly behaves like leather to touch and care (cleaning/treating).
I'm a bit of a carbon fiber junkie but I don't like it on interiors due to the glossy finish typically applied. So Carbon Leather was a perfect compromise. I'm considering getting my center console wrapped in some vinyl that matches Carbon Leather almost 100%.
