Had about 5 sets of wheels/tires combination include CH-R 20s with 255/30 and 285/30 setup. I liked the look of it but ride quality wasn't great (wasn't too bad either) but lost confidence of harr cornering as I can feel the weakness of small sidewall.
So I went with TE37SL in 18s. Got my confidence back of hard cornering and I'm happy with its comfy ride too.
It used to be +1" wheels were cool in E46M3 days but it looks like our trend changed and a lot of folks are in for -1" setup these days as well.
