Appreciate this thread so much. I'm refreshing a 100k mile e90 and thinking I will go ahead and pull the trigger on this job. Was wondering your thoughts on replacing the Cam sensors while you're in there. Seems like a good idea - though I don't hear others doing it and no reports of failures. |
I did via FCP, but probably unnecessary at my low mileage. I wanted a fresh update of all the components on 14 year old track car. This is a pretty casual DIY given your capabilities with the SC install, uninstall, install… 😂 One of the more enjoyable projects once the heavy ass Harrop plenum is removed.
