a multitude of reasons.... you are putting the same paint on a bumper to match a car that is almost 10 years old. i guess I am lucky because my car was always garaged and the paint is still mint, like new, with no fading. but if you have a car that was sitting out in the sun for 10 years, even if IND used the same exact factory paint on the new bumper I doubt it would match the rest of the car perfectly.
