Well, I'm running all day in 110+ degree weather with 2 dozen track days on the M3's stock calipers and rotors. I have 20 years of on track experience so I'm not a noob to track days and brakes.
But yes, continue to waste money on brake upgrades that are not needed - it's your money and you can spend it as you like.
