I didn't actually; the dealer noticed a noise coming from the suspension link when I turned the wheel (I complained about power steering motor noise, which actually was unrelated to the struts), and told me the struts had to be replaced. It was only after replacement that the car felt more solid/less "springy"/bouncy. The deterioration must have not been sudden, because I don't think I would have noticed on regular roads if they hadn't said anything (I had not tracked the car up to that point yet). My suggestion would be to get them inspected.
