I think they look great and that the price was excellent. I ran a set of centric rebuilds on my E36M3 for about 5 years before changing to Stoptech 4 piston (which I always wanted because they look cool, but they don’t stop any better in non-track use). The centric paint faded pretty fast — it was not a fancy two part high temp ceramic, at least not when I got the rebuild done 10 years ago.
Your shopping list would also have needed paint. And about a day of your time, whatever that is worth.
