Well, in my experience, I've had the pleasure of rubbing my fingers on my car's surface only to realize I'm gliding over soap. Go take a plate to your sink and put a dash of Dawn on there, wash it with cold water, then do it again with hot water. Tell me which feels cleaner. Either way, I'm not going to argue over soap.
