You are going to get mixed experience at every dealership. I've been going to BMW of Fremont for the past 6 months only because of Nick Lal. I had my car in for an oil change yesterday morning and I know Nick had to leave after lunch which is why you got switched to another SA.

Nick always takes care of me. Whenever I bring my car in, he makes sure my alcantara steering wheel is wrapped, and there's a big NO WASH sign on the dash of my car. He also knows I maintain my own brakes, wheels, and tires so he just asks me to make sure everything is okay with those components and resets the idrive service warnings for them. As long as he isn't busy with a lot of customers he'll personally take my car back to the shop as well. And if I need a loaner, he always gets me the best loaner he can get (328i convertible, 335d, z4, etc).

In the end you just need to find the SA who cares about his customers (especially his regulars) and your car is generally in good shape. I've heard horror stories at pretty much every dealership in the Bay Area so there's really no best place to go for service.
