Next up, swapped the kidney grills again
This time with the LCI style chrome outers with black slats. LCI on the left, Pre-LCI on the right.
I then decided to swap the cluster gauge faces with some Venoxy gauges. Always bothered me that the M logo in the cluster didn't light up from the factory, and that the E9x m3 didn't get the nice distinguishable grey face colours that the E46-era Ms and even the 335is got. Also opted in for the higher redline to match the 8600rpm redline of my AlpineMSS tune.
A little bit stressful of an install, but not too bad. Only part I struggled with a bit was reinstalling the gas needle in the right location. If you're going to tackle this, I suggest taking a picture of your cluster before removing it from the car so you have a reference for exactly where the gas needle needs to be reinstalled.
