Indeed. The diff was custom built by our very own Florian
driftflo in Germany. The purpose of the build was to make a diff that was comfortable for street use, but provided more lock-up for aggressive driving. It truly transformed the way the car puts down power on acceleration and out of corners. One of the best mods, IMO.
Here are the specs:
- Drexler 008 Light
- Drexler Clutch-Type LSD with GT3 Setup & Drilled Clutches
- 8 Clutchpacks (16 discs) molybdenum coated inner discs & all discs drilled
- Ramp-Angels: 60° on power / 70° on coast
- Max. Lockup: ~50% lockup on power and 35% on coast, 1.5 way
- Slight amount of preload (<100Nm) via special, thin cupspring
