OP I'm in the same boat. Couldn't stand people that took pics of their every meal and stayed far far away. But finally realized that there are some ridiculously talented photographers and hilarious people on there. Figured it would be a fun way to share some of my car photo shoots and I too recently caved. Username is "DaftPhotog".
