Pretty dead on. I was just talking to my friend who relocated back to BKK because of a great job offer. He said around $280k for an M3 and an RS4 is about ~$20k USD cheaper.
I remember seeing a Porsche Boxster S for sale there last summer and it was 9,000,000 baht.
You're right, cars are not cheap there, even the cheapest of new cars will run you 1.5-2 million baht.
