Everyone is different. My criteria listed in order of importance for second M3 which I bought in April:
LCI
Transmission (DCT only for me)
Nav/iDrive
Less than 60k miles
Color and carbon roof (E92)
ZCP (I'm not modding suspension or wheels)
Overall clean condition
Heated seats
Premium sound
I was pretty locked in on what spec I wanted and the only thing I didn't get was fox red interior but black is fine. Price depends on what you value. I paid $39k in April for my near perfect car with only 35k miles and it was worth every penny to me.
