There is not a Porsche that is anywhere close. Weirdly, the Macan feels lighter than the Panamera, but its AWD with a rear biased sport modes.

The Boxster/Cayman is an absolutely amazing chassis experience. For anything below grand touring, its better than the 911 if you don't want to take on the challenge of the 911 architecture prior to the 991.

A 997.1 GT3 is a unique challenge at 8/10 or above. Have fun! It isnt at home off of the track or Angeles Crest. Most that are for sale are available because someone bought them for the street or didn't understand the challenges of frequent track days. I'm a fan of the 997.2 GT3 and (now unaffordable to track) RS, but I'm rapidly becoming a fan of paddles instead of clutches on the track.
