Too much spacers?

Picked up a set of Breyton Race GT from a fellow BMW owner, for winter use. He had them on his 08 M5 as a square set up with Blizzaks(255/40/19). He mentioned that he needed to use 20mm spacers to make it fit the M5(he included them in the sale). Last night I tossed the wheels on, including the spacers. Got a chance to drive the M3 today and noticed rubbing during turns and something going on in the rears. Quickly parked and took the SUV instead(I was rushing back to work). So are the 20mm too much spacers for the M3? I have a stock 2011 e92 M3 with ZCP.

Wheel specs:

Offset: 35mm
Backspacing: 6.10"
Bolt Pattern: 5-120
Rec. Tire Size: 235/35-19
Weight: 31.0lbs.
