Sad but true. Mostly it's the Forum M3 owners that buy OE equipment with pride, much to the chagrin of their wallet.
Some parts I absolutely would buy OE parts bc they're a pain to replace or are mission critical...I'm on the fence with these rotors. I'd probably try them, bc all-in they're cheaper than one OE rotor, but I've been using cheap blanks for years with high quality (OE or OE 'formulated') pads and have yet to have an issue.
For me, I'd buy them and DIY them just to see. Not a lot of skin in the game there. I do, however, wish someone like Centric made them. Would have a lot more confidence in them.
Here's another seller of the same Bendix M3 brake rotor. It actually looks similar to the way a lot of current Mercedes rotors are made. Interesting.
