The good news is I was able to get in contact with the previous owner today and found out that they are VAC bearings and ARP bolts which is what I was going to have installed anyway.

The added bonus is he had them installed 6 months before I bought the car so they have done 8k in total (car has 88k on the clock).

He just considered it required maintenance so didn't think to tell me, I honestly can't believe my luck!

Also big shout out to Bromspec for letting me know as soon as they noticed. There are tuners out there that aren't so honest.

JJH - Unfortunately I don't have a set for sale as Bromspec were providing the rods and bolts. They often have sets in stock if you are looking for some.

Either way probably the best free 'win' i have had with any car I have owned or modified.

To boot, Bromspec mentioned the engine and underside of the car is in great condition, this car is definitely a keeper!
