Following much deliberation and deciding to keep my M3 forever (now have a second car and just can't think of what I would want to replace it with) I decided to to get my rod bearings done.
After advice from the forum I decided to go with Bromspec to do the work and I have nothing but praise for Alistair.
So dropped the car of last night and Alistair said he would have it finished by this afternoon. Got a call this morning telling me to come get my car.
When I got there he showed me this photo of my cars bottom end.
Just as he was about to replace the bearings he noticed they had already been done, so told me to save my money it doesn't need to be done again.
It absolutely blows my mind that the previous owner didn't tell me as it is such a selling point and he could have asked for 1000's more for the car.
Has anyone else had this happen to them?
