Valentine Day Blowout

POT WH*RE are not your friend. Oh, I mean HOLE.

I was on my way to break fast this morning. As I was merging on to the freeway from an on ramp. doing about 75-85, "BAM!" TPM alert went off. My front left tire had ran over a pot hole. First thought after the horrible sound was , second thought, my rims are F%^&. I managed to pull safely over to the side of the freeway, got out to inspect the damage. Rim looked over, but there a nice tear on the side wall of the tire. Long story short, BMW Assist towed my car to San Diego BMW. SA told me new tires and general alignment and suspension inspection are going to be ~$500. Dealer did not have tire in stock, and because of the poor economy there were no service technician working on Sat. To top it off, loaner vehicle are now $25.

The moral of the story is....19"+ rims and low profiles are . Pot holes are . Buy rims and tire insurance!

If, my rims are bent, Tom from EAS will be hearing from me for a set of Gun Metal V710.

Thanks for reading my Valentine Day whine-post.
